Brain vs. Brawn Donor Challenge

We are asking alumni, students, parents, faculty and staff to cast their vote in this friendly competition between academics and athletics.
Director of Admissions, Glenn Bozinski and Vice President of Academic Affairs, Mari King
Show your support by making a gift of any amount to the team of your choice—“Brain” or “Brawn”; the team with the largest total number of gifts will be announced during halftime at the MU vs. Albright College football game on November 9, and will earn bragging rights for the next year!

In the spirit of friendly competition, we are also encouraging you to share your clean “smack-talk” (keep in mind, we are a Mercy institution) with opponents on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with #MUBrain or #MUBrawn. Or, rally your classmates to join you in supporting your chosen team.

The best part of this competition is, no matter which team you choose, Misericordia benefits with additional funding that helps us sustain and develop programs for our students. Here are some quick facts about how your support helps Misericordia:
Director of Athletics, David Martin and Head Field Hockey Coach, Robyn Fedor Stahovic
  • 99% of our students receive some form of financial aid.
  • MU ranks 13th nationally for student service—your gift funds student service trips which helps contribute to our ranking.
  • Your gift supports university initiatives that include student and faculty research, equipment needs for both athletic and academic departments, information technology expansion, community cultural events, and more.

Follow the competition as we post the weekly totals for each team from now until the close of voting on Saturday, November 9 here or follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

Cast your vote now by making a gift.

The fine print: Every gift made to either academics or athletics, regardless of the outcome of the competition, will still fund the department to which it has been designated. No gift is too small, our goal for this competition is participation.
